Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Delta Reign releases November 6, 2026. The set contains more than 135 cards, more than 20 Trainer cards and more than 35 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations. Those are the figures Pokémon has confirmed. The first reveal names four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex: Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex. It also shows Legendary Summit, a Stadium made from two separate cards that meet in the middle of the play area.

The set name connects directly to Rayquaza. Delta evokes the symbol associated with the Sky High Pokémon in earlier games, while Reign frames it as the ruler above the other Mega cards. The official art backs that up instead of spreading attention evenly across the four featured Pokémon.
The four confirmed Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
Mega Rayquaza ex is the most interesting reveal because Ruler's Roar changes the moment it enters play. When it is played from the hand to evolve a Pokémon, the Ability searches the deck for a Basic Energy and attaches it to Mega Rayquaza ex. Storm Emerald then deals 50 damage for each Energy attached to it.
That text does not prove a tournament deck by itself. A Stage 1 attacker still needs the correct Basic Pokémon, the evolution card and enough Energy to reach a meaningful number. What it does prove is that the card helps pay its own attack cost, which makes it more than a display piece.
The other three Mega cards cover very different jobs. Golurk is a large single hit attacker with a restriction that prevents it from attacking when it has too many damage counters. Malamar can punish a full opposing Bench. Golisopod becomes stronger after damage is already placed on the Active Pokémon. That variety suggests Delta Reign is not relying on Rayquaza alone for play value.
Legendary Summit uses two cards as one Stadium
Legendary Summit is printed across cards 96 and 97. A player may put only one Stadium into play during a turn, but the cards state that both pieces can be played together. Once the landscape is complete, each side affects Pokémon with Rule Boxes in a different way.
For collectors, this is the first obvious pair to keep together. A single half is still a legal card, but the artwork and the intended table presentation only make sense as a set. That can create demand for matched copies even when neither half becomes expensive on its own.
What collectors should wait for
No official source has published pull rates, rarity totals, product contents or a complete card list. Prices attached to unreleased cards this early are offers built on scarcity of information, not a mature market. The useful dates are the checklist reveal, the first large opening samples and the first week of completed sales after November 6.
Collectors interested in Rayquaza should also distinguish this English set from the Japanese Storm Emeralda release. The two products share the central Pokémon and some mechanics, but language, numbering, rarity labels and market supply are not interchangeable.
