The central reveal was Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, a paired role playing adventure from Game Freak planned for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. The company did not publish the complete checklist, pull rates or final product allocation during the show. The presentation also confirmed that PokémonXP and the World Championships will share San Francisco from August 28 through August 30. The interest list for multiday passes ran from April 2 through April 23. PokémonXP is the public convention portion, while Worlds remains the competitive finale. A new Mega Garchomp Z encounter joined Pokémon Legends: Z A through Mystery Gift. Claiming the gift did not require buying the Mega Dimension content, but entering the special hyperspace distortion did require the downloadable expansion and prior progress in its story. That small footnote is exactly the sort of condition that disappears when an announcement is reduced to a social post.
What matters most is clear. Winds and Waves defined the future, FireRed and LeafGreen supplied the immediate anniversary moment, and the globally coordinated TCG launch may have the widest practical effect for collectors and stores. The rest of the program added substance around those three anchors instead of competing with them.
