Platform commission: 7%
Misprint's own seller fee schedule states a flat "7% platform commission on the sale price," with no seller tier, subscription or volume discount that reduces it. Misprint does sell a $9.99/month (or $7.99/month billed annually) membership plan, but that plan's perks, free shipping on Misprint's own official orders, loyalty store credit, and member-only sales, are buyer-side benefits. It does not lower a seller's 7% commission, despite that being an easy assumption to make.
Payment processing: about 3% + $0.30
On top of the platform commission, Stripe charges its standard processing fee, which Misprint passes through at roughly 3% + $0.30 per transaction. Combined with the 7% commission, a typical sale costs a seller around 10% + $0.30 total, before shipping. When we sold a card through Misprint ourselves, the payout matched this math.
Shipping: seller-covered, deducted from the payout
Misprint's fee schedule lists a shipping base of $2.50 per seller, plus an additional $2.50 for each graded or sealed item, deducted from what the seller receives rather than charged separately to the buyer at checkout.
No listing fee
Unlike some marketplaces that charge to list before a sale even happens, Misprint doesn't charge to create a listing. The 7% + processing is the entire cost of a sale that goes through cleanly.
The one fee you only pay if something goes wrong
Misprint charges a non-compliance fee, the greater of $10 or 10% of the refunded amount, capped at $250, when a seller fails to ship, doesn't provide valid tracking, or doesn't respond to an order in time. It's not a routine cost of selling; it only applies if the shipping deadline covered in our step-by-step selling guide gets missed.
How it compares
At roughly 10% + $0.30 combined, Misprint's total seller cost runs below eBay's 13.25% + per-order fee and below TCGPlayer's roughly 13.55% combined, and lands close to Whatnot's roughly 9.5% under $1,500 per order. See the full side-by-side in best marketplace to sell graded Pokémon cards.
