Misprint: lowest flat fee, cards-only
A 7% platform commission plus roughly 3% + $0.30 in payment processing, about 10% + $0.30 combined, with no listing fee and escrow built specifically around grading and authenticity. It's the lowest flat rate here on a typical sale, with the trade-off of a smaller existing buyer base than eBay or TCGPlayer. eBay: the reach, at the highest standard fee
13.25% up to $7,500 (2.35% above), plus a per-order fee, is the highest standard rate of the four, offset by the largest buyer base by far and a standing 50% discount on that fee for trading card singles selling at $1,000 or more. TCGPlayer: the deepest singles search, at a similar fee to eBay
10.75% commission plus a 2.5% + $0.30 transaction fee lands around 13.55% combined for a standard seller, close to eBay's rate. What TCGPlayer offers instead of a lower fee is the deepest pool of buyers specifically searching for one exact card, set and condition. See Misprint vs TCGPlayer.
Whatnot: the best fee at the high end, if you're already live
8% commission on the first $1,500 of a trading card or sports card order, and 0% on the portion above that, plus payment processing. Above $1,500 a single card, nothing else here comes close. The fee only works this way for a seller running live shows with a real audience. See Misprint vs Whatnot.
Our take
We run our own inventory through eBay, where the existing reach on high-volume bulk is hard to replace from zero. For a seller building from scratch, or specifically moving graded singles and sealed product, Misprint's lower flat fee is worth testing alongside whatever marketplace already has your audience, rather than treated as an either-or choice.
