A team bag is a resealable poly bag, bigger than a sleeve, sized to hold several loose cards, one toploader, or a magnetic holder up to a certain thickness. It's the layer between "cards in a box" and "cards individually protected," and it's what most grading companies expect a submission to travel in before it reaches a semi-rigid holder.

  • BCW Resealable Team Set Bags

Holds 35 loose cards or 5 standard 35pt toploaders, fits magnetics up to 108pt. Acid-free, the most common choice for shippers moving volume.

    100-pack~$5–6

  • Ultra Pro Team Bags

Same job, resealable edge, slightly cheaper per hundred in most listings. The difference between this and BCW comes down to whichever is in stock that week.

    100-pack~$4

Team bag or toploader?

Team bag when you're holding a toploader closed for shipping, or grouping a handful of commons that don't need individual protection. Toploader alone when a single card needs rigid protection and isn't going anywhere near a grading submission. The two aren't competitors, a team bag usually goes around a toploader, not instead of one.
