A team bag is the last layer between a sleeved, toploaded card and the mailer: it keeps moisture and dust off the toploader without adding bulk. Both brands make theirs from crystal-clear, acid-free polypropylene with a resealable adhesive strip.

Where BCW wins

Size and bulk pricing. BCW's standard team bag runs 3⅜" × 5", with room for a sleeved card in a toploader up to 108pt, or several 35pt toploaders stacked together. Sold in packs from 100 up to 1,000, the per-bag cost drops fast at volume, which matters when every graded submission or shipped order needs one.

Where Ultra Pro wins

Ultra Pro's bag runs smaller, 3⅜" × 3⅞", which is enough for a single sleeved card without a toploader, or a thin toploader alone. If the job is bagging loose sleeved bulk rather than toploaded singles, the smaller bag wastes less material.

What this doesn't decide

Neither bag is a mailer. It stops moisture and dust, not a bent corner from a package getting squeezed in transit. That's still the job of a rigid mailer or a properly packed bubble mailer.
